The Way Book Launch

Cary Groner had amazing launch events at Orinda Books and Kepler’s to celebrate his new novel, The Way.
In The Way, the world has been ravaged by a lethal virus and, with few exceptions, only the young have survived. Against this perilous backdrop, Will Collins, the de facto caretaker of a Buddhist monastery in Colorado, receives an urgent and mysterious request: to deliver a potential cure to a scientist in what was once California. A highly original contribution to the canon of dystopian literature, The Way is a thrilling, imaginative, and timely novel.

Fox Chats with Ebony LaDelle
For this edition of Fox Chats, we spoke to Interim Marketing Director, Ebony LaDelle. You can follow Ebony on Substack here.
What’s one household item you can’t live without?
My traveling, pour over coffee & tea strainer. I'm not a person that needs multiple cups of coffee and tea a day, but I do need at least ONE or I'm another person. Having an option to use this on the go does wonders for me.
Where is your favorite place to read in public?
By the ocean. There's nothing like hearing water wash up on the sand, looking up to see nothing but sky and water, and the tranquility of smelling salt water and the ocean breeze.
What movie, TV show, or album are you currently obsessed with?
I keep coming back to Alligator Bites Never Heal by Doechii. Her vulnerability as an artist is incredible and inspirational, and every time I watch another performance of hers, I immediately go putting her album on rotation. It’s refreshing to see a Black female MC getting the flowers she's getting.
